Many active traders in Korea study patterns in isolation — a candle on the 15-minute chart, a moving average cross on the daily — without a hierarchy for which interval decides. Software Optimizers was founded to teach that hierarchy as a craft: higher-timeframe structure first, bias second, execution timing last.
The name reflects how we treat a chart layout: strip noise, keep the marks that matter, and read the same instrument across intervals until the story agrees or the trade is passed.
The desk began as informal Saturday reviews in Suncheon for acquaintances who traded KOSPI futures and major FX pairs after work. Those sessions revealed a recurring failure: strong lower-timeframe setups taken against weekly ranges. Formal cohorts and private reviews followed so the method could be taught with homework and annotated packs, not hallway advice.
Instruction is led by practitioners who have marked charts for discretionary trading for years and now spend their week preparing class cases, reviewing participant homework, and facilitating the study circle. We do not claim brokerage licenses as a selling point; we teach reading and journaling discipline. Credentials that matter here are consistent mark-ups, clear house rules, and willingness to say “pass” on a chart.
Honesty about uncertainty. Respect for the student’s existing style — we refine timeframe alignment rather than selling a new identity. Hospitality for the Suncheon studio: punctual starts, clear endings, and no pressure to trade live during class.
